About the Role
Kinder Croft are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, and nature-loving practitioners to join our Bank Staff team. This flexible role will involve providing occasional cover for permanent staff during times of sickness, absence, and holidays. It's ideal for those wanting to build experience in a unique Early Years setting or for experienced practitioners seeking flexible, occasional work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a nurturing, safe, and child-centred learning environment for children aged 3-7 (and up to 14 during Holiday Clubs).

  • Work as part of a small, dedicated team to support the daily operations of the nursery.

  • Deliver outdoor, play-based education in all weather conditions.

  • Ensure the well-being and development of children, supporting them in a natural, outdoor setting.

Person Specification:

  • Qualifications: Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this.

  • Experience: Passion for outdoor education and working with children. Previous experience in Early Years education is desirable.

  • Personal Attributes: Ability to work in all weather conditions in an active role.

  • Other: Access to transport to reach the nursery site (Leckmelm, 3 miles south of Ullapool).

  • All staff will be required to undergo PVG Disclosure Checks.
