Kinder Croft is located in Leckmelm Wood, 2.5 miles South of Ullapool.
If approaching from the South on the A835: Keep driving towards Ullapool until you get to the hamlet of Leckmelm. Continue through Leckmelm, past Leckmelm Farm and then past Leckmelm Gardens on your left. Just after the gardens, there is 1 kilometre of very straight road; the turning to Kinder Croft is on the right-hand side in the middle of this straight. Look for our sign that says "LECKMELM WOOD". Follow the signs for Kinder Croft and you will arrive.
If approaching from the North on the A835: Drive through the village of Ullapool and exit on the only road south towards Inverness. Keep going for about 2.5 miles until you will see a sign for "LECKMELM". The turning is in the middle of this 1-kilometre straight stretch, on the left-hand side. Look for the sign to Kinder Croft.
Please be mindful of driving in the woods
When coming to nursery please TURN RIGHT at the top of the drive, turn your vehicle and check that the track to the left is clear before driving along. When leaving nursery please GIVE WAY before turning onto the driveway, to let cars come up, then check the driveway and turn right down the drive to leave. We have put GIVE WAY signs out to remind everyone.
Please adhere to the 5mph limit in the forest, not just for the nursery but also for the other forest residents including children and animals. Please keep the first lay-by on the map for passing only.
